The day-time part of this Vancouver singles travel itinerary is best enjoyed in good weather, when the locals are at their peak of beauty.

The evening part of this Vancouver, British Columbia singles travel itinerary can be enjoyed any time of the year, and can be swapped with many of the other itineraries.

10:00 a.m.

Make your way to Kits beach. Depending on where you're staying, you may want to pack a bag for the day. Walk to Burrard Street. If you're feeling energetic, walk over the Burrard Street Bridge. If you're feeling less energetic, you can catch the 22 MacDonald bus over the bridge. Get off at Vine Street (you'll see the beach on your right.)

Select an appropriate viewing spot. Or if you're feeling more active or fancy water that isn't bracing, enjoy kits pool, a 137-metre long warmed pool. (late May - mid-September).

1:00 p.m.
If you're looking for more than a snack, walk to Yew Street, which ends at Kits beach. Malone's is a popular sports bar, restaurant. Continue up Yew for a few sushi options. Kits Sushi is quick, convenient and good. If you're interested in something stronger than mineral water, consider the King's Head Pub. A Tudor-style pub on Yew at 1st Avenue , they also offer traditional pub fare.

2:30 p.m.
You can either * continue back to the beach for more sun worshipping or * walk up Yew to 4th Avenue, is a great shopping area. From organic foods at Capers to the latest yoga attire at Lululemon, you’ll find it on Fourth.

5:00 p.m.
Watermark restaurant and bar. Return to Kits beach (via Yew). The building above the changing rooms is your destination. Watermark offers a spectacular view of the mountains and water and a chance to re-hydrate with your beverage of choice.

6:30 p.m.
Return to your hotel room to change for the evening.

7:30 p.m.
Bin 941 941 Davie Street 604-683-1246 Hop in a cab for a bite to eat at Bin 941. The packed out eatery offers tapas and drinks. You won't be lost for company, as you nibble on your meal elbow to elbow with the locals.

9:00 p.m.
George 1137 Hamilton Street 604-628-5555. Looking for a place to enjoy an inventive cocktail or two? Turn left on Davie and continue six blocks to Hamilton Street. Turn left. This latest fabulous drinking spot offers a bevy of beverages and a scene to match.

10:30 p.m.
Time for some live music? Then it's time for the Railway Club. Once a working man's club, it now plays host to up-and-coming bands. You can grab a cab. Or if you're up for a 15 minute walk, return along Davie to Seymour Street (three blocks.) Turn right. Walk six blocks to Dunsmuir. The Railway club entrance is the door behind the 7-11 on Dunsmuir.
