Victoria is known for its great antique shops and range of curios. If you think a day browsing through items of the past is ideal, then this is the itinerary for you.
As this day is spent walking through the downtown area, it’s best enjoyed on a dry day. However if rain is threatening, bring an umbrella and you won’t miss a beat of the fun.

Murchie’s
1110 Government St.
Walk down Government Street to Murchie’s.
This 100-year old company provides the Empress with tea. Have your own cup of tea to put you in the mood for the day’s exploration.

Walk half a block back along Government Street to Fort Street. Turn left.Wander along Fort Street. You’ll come to Antique Row, a collection of shops that are filled with treasures of yesteryear. Pick up a copy of Victoria’s Antique Shops, available in any of the shops along Fort Street.
